MICRO-TOPOGRAPHIC RESEARCH:                                                                                                                                                                                                

• Conducted research for fabricating micro-topology stamps for carbonized bread electrodes

  • Modeled topologies in SolidWorks that were then 3D printed into molds

  • Stamped topological features from the molds and carbonized the bread sample

  • Evaluated the sample topological features using a Scanning Electron Microscopy machine

PROJECTS:                                                                                                                          

• ASCE Concrete Canoe Capstone Project:

  • Acted as a team leader and adapted to the fast-paced, dynamic nature of the process of fabricating a concrete canoe

  • Researched and developed batches of concrete with lightweight aggregates and polymeric admixtures in the form of liquid emulsions

  • Received the Palumbo Research Grant to obtain additional funding

• Micro-fluidic Gradient Chip Project:

  • Designed and modeled a micro-fluidic chip using SolidWorks

  • 3D printed the mold and cast PDSM to form the micro-fluidic chip 

• Thermoforming Acrylic Project:

  • Applied a SolidWorks model to thermoforming acrylic cupholders

• Acrylic Support System Project

  • Designed a static structure meant to suspend 45-lbs in tension between two minimal pieces of acrylic

  • Performed an FEA analysis on SolidWorks of the modeled system
